All truth, but then you have people like Allhpundit who never, ever will back off his conviction that people are stupid for resisting the vaccine, and that it saves lives. In spite of just astounding evidence to the contrary.

I spoke with a woman a few years older than me a few months ago. She’d had five shots I think she said. Might have been two boosters, and waiting for the next one. She seemed baffled, but still convinced.

Looks like the push for mask wearing is coming back. I still see people (mostly female or older male) that wears the mask yet. Science says they don’t work, yet the MSM is quiet on that. Kinda hard convincing people that it’s only a flu and not a plague. Was forced to retire because of this, so you can safely say I’m biased. I also have natural immunity.

I think that some people are afraid, and hope that if they do what the “experts” say to do, they will be protected.

I have a few friends who suffer from illnesses where it’s best for their overall condition that they wear a mask when out in public, and they have been doing so long before this pandemic hit. It’s unfortunate that post pandemic they now receive the occasional side glance accompanied by a softly spoken underhanded remark about wearing a mask. Sad to see empathy and respect for others becoming a casualty of late.
