As per Stella, you can go to Alaska to see the aurora borealis at Nome.
However, you may not be able to drive into Canada, depending upon Trudeau’s whim re the unvaccinated. There’s always the ferry from the U.S. via the Alaska Marine Highway. See: https://dot.alaska.gov/amhs/ – however, check with them, too, re needing vaccination confirmation.
Plus flying n/s into Fairbanks from Seattle is available and then book a tour into Nome. I don’t think airlines restrict passengers to only the vaccinated anymore; but considering it’s a Seattle departure, who knows?
Whatever you decide, have a good time. Tundra can probably give us all some pointers on the best way to travel into her home state.

It’s not too bad here – yet. We had a tiny amount of snow that is gone now. A bit colder than it has been. In this part of the state we are mostly protected from lake effect snow, and a bit warmer.

I saw something awhile back that also indicated some from the “IC” community were in very high-level posts with all of these anti-“social media” platforms. It would not surprise me one iota that we eventually find out that all of these platforms were built and developed with extensive gubmint help and direction. Can you imagine how much they’ve hoovered up over the last 15 years or so. Much easier to get than phone records.

I’ve been trying to access the RNC website the last few days, and I keep getting a weird message -“The requested URL was rejected. Access Forbidden” Anyone else tried to access it lately? Here’s the link I get from my search engine –

I also use a VPN. I’ll see what happens. I have Edge and Safari on my Mac. So far, I’ve just tried with Edge. Commie plot! 😉

Turned off the VPN on Safari browser and it let me in. The website is not real spectacular. Wonder who they “paid” for that job? Has anyone had nay luck looking up your state delegates to the RNC?

While the good professor has certainly had his eyes opened, and appears to at least looked at the red pill bottle, we shouldn’t get our hopes up too high, just as with Mr. Musk. We will not all be on the same page forever. At least we are on some really important matters. All hill are not meant to d*e on.

Afternoon All. I avoided answering the phone or even turning on my computer this morning until I had watched the game because the Army/Navy game was yesterday and I had to record it because the Nutcracker was in the afternoon. I am glad I did. They went into double overtime for the first time in the history of the game. A wild last few minutes.
The Nutcracker was spectacular. It was the San Diego Ballet performing. My granddaughters wore their fancy dresses, as did most of the other young ladies who were there. The whole audience was mesmerized by the performance. I was not surprised the two older girls were spellbound but the 2 1/2 yr old sat still on her mother’s lap throughout. It was just a wonderful afternoon.
There are so many Christmas lights up here. It was fun to see that after dark. I hope everyone is healthy and safe.

During the intermission a lot of the dressed up little girls were dancing and twirling up and down the stairs. They were so happy.

Aus, so glad everyone, but especially the girls, loved THE NUTCRACKER. That will go in their memory banks to be taken out at intervals likely forever.
