Morning Stella and Stellers! The IC is getting a little frisky lately. Maybe time to start thinking defensively. Start with TOR, VPN, or similar.

VPN is Virtual Private Network. TOR is a non-profit network that also protects internet privacy.
I’m not sure what IC mean here. Maybe he meant IP?

Italian Butter Balls Cookies Recipe 🎄 Vintage Christmas Recipe
Grandma Feral – December 5, 2022
Video Notes: Happy Vlogmas! This is a vintage recipe for Italian Butter Ball Cookies. I have made this recipe for many years. I don’t know how old it is. These soft cookies are delicious and delightful to eat. They feel like they melt in your mouth.

Morning Lucille. Aren’t these the same or similar to Mexican wedding cookies or what we call snowballs?

The Mexican Wedding cookies I have eaten were crispy. It says these are soft and buttery. What is the taste?

Afternoon, Stella! I’ll partake of any that even look similar…LOL!

Yummy! Thanks!

They are so similar to Mexican Wedding Cookies (which I just love). Seems like there is little difference except these have pecans and the Wedding cookies have almonds. They sound really delicious.

Good almost-evening, Wee! Is Hill knitting that for her oh-so-innocent hubby should he embarrass her publicly again or for us deplorables merely for living?
There are so VERY many lefties to choose from, but she’s near the top for hubris and unlikeability.

I don’t know if she’s a GOP sellout or not, but this seems promising:

Seems Harmeet teamed up with Henry Barbour. I don’t like or trust Mr. Barbour. He’s bad news. Relation to Hailey Barbour of Ms. Nuff said.

This made me laugh.
I don’t use Microsoft Word any more, and I can see that I’m not missing anything!
Btw, I use Apache’s Open Office, which is free to anyone who cares to use it. If you are interested:

Afternoon everyone. I got up this morning knowing I had better go to the laundromat. Maintenance had finally cleared off the parking lot yesterday afternoon, again, and I knew there was a possibility of snow again late in the morning. It took at least a half hour to clean the 10 inches of snow off my car since I hadn’t done it for 2 weeks. And, tomorrow I have to go get another shot in my eye and I don’t like to strain much the day after. Friday my son is picking me up to go spend the weekend at their house because there is a little sing by the children on Friday night. And, ALL my clothes were dirty except what I had washed by hand this week. A washer/dryer is a must. It wouldn’t be so hard if I was 20, 30, or even 50. So, after Christmas I am going to enlist the maintenance guy to help me.
Oh, and it did start snowing, just lightly, but snowing nevertheless.
I think I will take a nap. Hope all of you are enjoying getting ready for Christmas. I love this time of year.

Good afternoon, aus! Can you take a huge bag of clothes which need washing to your son’s home? As an inducement, you could volunteer to do all their washing, too…LOL!

That could be a good idea. Wouldn’t hurt to ask if you could do it just until you get your own washer/dryer.

I had a discussion with my DIL and it didn’t go so well. Actually, that would be a little bit difficult, too, since I would have to take so much to their house.

One time my washer was on the blink and I needed to do a small, but necessary, wash. I asked my neighbor to use his washer and he granted my request. We don’t pay for water but there would be the small cost for electricity when doing the wash. I simply took him out for brunch later.
Is there anyone in your apartment complex you’d feel comfortable in asking?

Absolutely not. I only know the young lady across the hall and she is gone most of the time. I would feel like I was taking advantage of her.

Truthfully I haven’t met too many of my neighbors and even then, only in passing once or twice.

When I first moved into my present apartment, the neighbors in my section of the senior complex all introduced themselves either by stopping by my place or when seeing me at the mailbox.
The fellow who let me use his washer/dryer–Larry, who later became my close pal–was the person I asked prayer for a while back when he had to move into a hospice. He subsequently died–November 8th. He was always so kind to take me shopping or other errands and inviting me out to lunch or dinner. I certainly miss him and his dear little Havanese dog.

Ah, if this was a senior complex, I could see where that might work. This is a mixed one and most of the people here go to work. Most young people don’t have much interest in old people, I think.

Brazil: Jake Sullivan Invites Communist Criminal Lula to USA as Indios Protest, Chile Threatens to Invade
By Richard Abelson – Published December 6, 2022 at 9:30am
Joe Biden’s “National Security Adviser” and Russiagate conspirator Jake Sullivan visited Brasilía Monday and invited the convicted criminal, Communist, and purported election fraudster Lula da Silva to visit Washington. Indigenous tribes found the fake President-Elect’s hotel and made “the ground tremble” with their protest.

I’d include Sullivan’s article photo, but it’s just too offensive to foist on Stella’s readers.

Hey y’all. Cloudy and snowing here today, but a bit warmer–back to high 20s/low 30s. Waiting for our snow guy to come plow the driveway and parking area. Mom, I wish I could come pick you up in my Jeep and bring you back here to do laundry.
Good piece from Kuntsler, actually ending on a somewhat positive note.
