It is increasingly clear that the federal government, particularly the FBI, was directly responsible for social media suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 Presidential election. It seems obvious that this effort was to protect Joe Biden from bad publicity during his run against Donald Trump.
An FBI agent testified to Republican attorneys general this week that the FBI held weekly meetings with Big Tech companies in Silicon Valley ahead of the 2020 presidential election to discuss “disinformation” on social media and ask about efforts to censor that information.
On Tuesday, lawyers from the offices of Attorneys General Eric Schmitt of Missouri and Jeff Landry of Louisiana deposed FBI Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan as part of their lawsuit against the Biden administration. That suit accuses high-ranking government officials of working with giant social media companies “under the guise of combating misinformation” to achieve greater censorship.
Chan, who serves in the FBI’s San Francisco bureau, was questioned under oath by court order about his alleged “critical role” in “coordinating with social-media platforms relating to censorship and suppression of speech on their platforms.”
During the deposition, Chan said that he, along with the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force and senior Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency officials, had weekly meetings with major social media companies to warn against Russian disinformation attempts ahead of the 2020 election, according to a source in the Missouri attorney general’s office.
… Fox News Digital also learned that, according to Chan’s testimony, the FBI regularly sends social media companies lists of internet URLs and social media accounts that should be taken down because they are “disinformation” from “malign foreign influence operations.” The FBI then inquires whether the platforms have taken down the content. On many occasions, the platforms take down the accounts flagged by the FBI.
“Since filing our lawsuit, we’ve uncovered troves of discovery that show a massive ‘censorship enterprise,’” Attorney General Eric Schmitt told Fox News Digital. “Now, we’re deposing top government officials, and we’re one of the first to get a look under the hood — the information we’ve uncovered through those depositions has been shocking to say the least. It’s clear from Tuesday’s deposition that the FBI has an extremely close role in working to censor freedom of speech.”

Meta identified the FBI’s Foreign Interference Task Force and Chan as involved in the communications between the FBI and Meta that led to Facebook’s suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story.

In the America I grew up in, in the 50s and 60s, there would be consequences for such actions. I wish I could have confidence that that were still true. Unfortunately I no longer have that confidence. But being endlessly optimistic, I still hope for justice–in this life, as well as when they stand before God.

As we’ve known for years, the FBI is a wretched organization which has been bought by those who hate anyone who opposes the Left’s takeover. They will continue to do EVERYTHING they can to get rid of this story and not have to endure any consequences whatsoever.

Yawn!! The FBI , CIA and the other intelligence agencies, intelligence word should be replaced with corrupt, and somehow we act like we didn’t know that these agencies were corrupt?? They have been corrupt from the beginning!! Warren commission?. Do you really think that LBJ picked honest people for the job on the Warren Commission?. If so I got real estate to sell your dumb ass!! My point is that these agencies have been corrupt from the beginning!! In his quest for power J.Edgar Hoover?. Come on people !! Well I respect your views and I am in agreement with the views most of the time. I am saying until the present GOP stands up to corruption in the agencies we want be able to fix these problems by voting!!! Isn’t it obvious our right to vote has been compromised and we were told by Maxine Waters AND Sleepy Joe Biden that the apparatus for ballot manipulation was put in place under Obama?? Yet leadership that we elected to stand against these atrocities have let us down?? There my sentiments that this can’t be fixed at the ballot box!! I again apologize for my language in the previous post.

I think it is obvious as what needs to be done!! When President Trump was elected I thought the corruption afore mentioned would be exposed!! I thinks the only solution is to join up with these new house republicans and PRESSURE the Republicans that are in power to use their power to begin the process of exposing those responsible for the corruption!!! A all out assault , verbally and phone calls and letters, not physical assault, to get this train moving. President Trump started the process but his efforts were thwarted by Freekin Republicans!! We can’t have that!!!
