Finally, something that looks like Fall! The last freeze has turned many trees yellow, and some of the weeds in this field went deep orange-red! I love driving past this!

Yes, we had a strange autumn here. Early sub-temps froze half the leaves on the trees before they had a chance to fall completely. Asparagus plants as well…frozen green and drooping before we got to trimming.

Mornin’ All. All the way up to a warm 27* here. It kept snowing into the night. They had to clear the sidewalks again this morning. I got my first winter elec. bill. It was double the summer bill, $80. That still is pretty good. If it doesn’t go over $100 I will be okay with it. I need to make a trip down to the mailboxes this afternoon………in the snow. Oops, just looked out the window and it is snowing again. 😯 And, they are BIG flakes.

Well, hope all of you weathered the storm that went across the country. Some of the scenes of damage are awful. Prayers for all who were affected.

Sounds like you have really reasonable electricity rates. I think you said that you have a co-op? I heat with natural gas and, believe me, my winter bills are much higher than $100. My last bill (due Dec. 6) is $49, but that is just for gas and for a period that wasn’t too cold. My electric bill was $53.

I think so, too. In Florida, the bill ran about $50 in the winter, Dec thru March, and $100 to $150 in the summer, which started often around April. But, the air conditioner ran constantly during the summer months.

Okay, I double checked. My highest bill this year was paid at the beginning of March – $101 for period of Jan. 13 – Feb 11. Not terrible, but that’s just for gas. My electric bill for the same period was $65. My highest electric bill this past year was $180 paid at the end of August [Same period the previous year was $133]. Air conditioning. Electric bills have gone up dramatically. I think it is because of all this “green” energy, and the closing of coal-fired plants.

I am grateful that the bills have been so low. I was really nervous about that before I came. I had heard about $400 and $500 heating bills up North.

Fortunately I won’t see a huge heating bill. My place is fairly small (about 800 sq. ft + basement), and natural gas rates are more reasonable than heating oil. I think a lot of people in the Northeast heat with oil.

I am thankful that my bills are quite manageable on my income.

Good afternoon, aus! We’re at 33 degrees and the snow is stacked up. It’s real hard on the knees to trudge through several inches where people haven’t cleaned off their walks. I cleaned the walk in front of my place yesterday and this morning removed the loose ice to help out my neighbor who has the flu and still needs to take her dog out. I’m pretty sure, though, her son just walked past my window carrying her little Sheba Enu in a carrier. What a good son!

It may snow a bit after 7:00 PM, but the next few days are supposed to be snow-free. Thank God! And thanks to Him that I’m retired and don’t have to drive anywhere or go to an office.

It has quit snowing for a while and we went down to the mailbox. It is about a block away. Loki did good going, but started worrying over her feet coming back. I had put her snow shoes on her and only one came off. But, she kept running out into the fluffy snow and I think it got into the bootie. I ended up carrying her part way back. My car has over a foot of snow covering it. I will need to start it tomorrow, I think.

I guess it is possible that he wasn’t acting………………but having watched that, it looks like he was. Awarding him that much is ridiculous either way.

If this is a film clip from the day after the massacre, then a parent or close family member is still in shock and isn’t responsible for what his face or voice does–people smile and laugh at very awkward times while under severe distress. Walk a mile in his shoes.

It’s a very long story, but when my brother was killed in a complicated accident on their property, my parents were absolutely grief-stricken. After his funeral while she was in a reception line, my mother was laughing at something and was told by a female attendee that she was disrespectful to her son and a bad mother…literally “a bad mother.” In addition she was told that if she’d been a good mother and kept her eye on her son while they were in the yard, the accident would never have happened.

As for Alex Jones having to pay such an absurd amount that he doesn’t have nor will ever have, it’s so huge that it’s meaningless. Imo, the opinions he expressed regarding this horrific event, though, were despicable, planned, and doubtless caused great anger and anguish.

If you live in California, here’s one more reason to get out….

    California Doxes Gun owners

More at question was whether the dox was intentional. What do you think? The State of California is outright Nazi. What is Nazi? Fascism occurs when industry becomes indistinguishable from government. Both of have captured each other and mated. That is fascism. California and the USA are fascist. Naziism occurs when racism or (something-ism) combines with fascism. Naziism is boosted Fascism. Same thing. But racist, or Woke.

And so when companies like Twitter, Facebook, and big pharma, operate as if they are government offices but remain companies, that is fascism.

    Who’s zooming who?

The reality of government capturing people and industry is no different from the inverse capturing the government. You never touch anything that does not touch you.

Are CDC, FDA, FBI, and the Pentagon merely offices of big pharma, MIC, and Big Money/Power? Yes, clearly. They are indistinguishable.

Fascism and its fraternal twin Nazism are the children of this unholy bond. Fascism/Nazism create conditions where States like California are giant fiefdoms. The Governor is a chess piece. Fungible. Replaceable. As are all the four-star flag officers, the Generals and the Admirals. General Milley is an errand boy. Sent to collect a note. Upriver. Expendable. And probably caught on some wild videos. A Traitor.
