Mornin’ All. Beautiful, clear blue sky and 4*. I got a call from my Credit Union and I couldn’t complain to her because she is in Michigan and they are having a blizzard. LOL. However, I can complain to my friend in Florida. They are having perfect weather there now. LOL.
This is very weird. I got a notice from Amazon that they tried to deliver a package to me and couldn’t for some reason. Then, this morning, I got a USPS notice of my mail and one of the envelopes was from AAA and was addressed to (my frost name and somebody else’s last name). I got a delivery of groceries from Walmart last Tues or Wed and they had substituted some chicken strips from Walmart that I really didn’t want but couldn’t figure out how to stop them. I cooked some of them for dinner and they were very hot with pepper that burned my mouth and throat and hurt my stomach. So I wanted to return them and couldn’t figure out a way to do it. This morning I got an email saying they couldn’t find me and had cancelled my order. ????????????? They must have had a computer glitch. Twilight Zone stuff.
Well, we will see what else today brings. Hope your weather is as good as mine. 🙂

Beautiful here aus. We were a cold 27 here this morning, not nearly what you guys have. Sounds like Montana decided to have you jump right in to the cold and snow.

Yeah, I keep being told that they don’t usually have snow until late in Nov. It came before Halloween. And, it isn’t usually this cold until Dec. Also, I called the manager of the apt complex and asked what we do when the power goes out. She said she had been here 15 years and had never had the power go out. Well, there was a power failure just last week in the whole county just about. And, she said, “Well, yes, but that was a freak storm.” LOL. Strangely enough, my power didn’t go out. I think all the power is underground at these apts and that would be why. So, yes, I got thrown in the deep end of the pool. LOL

It is snow here, but not too much so far.
Amazon supposedly delivered a package to me yesterday afternoon, but it isn’t here, so that is something I will have to deal with – and it’s an expensive one too.
Whenever something goes wrong with my grocery delivery, I complain and always get a refund. It pays to complain. You can tell them that their substitute was no good. I don’t do Walmart, but Instacart has a place specifically for this.

Well, I wanted to complain and return the chicken strips, but there was no place on the website that would do that and I can’t figure out how to contact them. I may just let it go since they cancelled the order and I evidently didn’t have to pay for it.

Try calling Walmart and asking how you can give them feedback on their deliveries. It will be worth it in the future. When Instacart delivers the wrong thing, I get a credit and I keep the wrong thing too. Most times I can find a use for it.

I think I will just let this lie. I checked, and even though they did deliver my order, they sent me an email saying they couldn’t and they cancelled it. Because of that, I didn’t pay for any of it. I will however, check on how to return something I don’t want.
