A lost elephant calf in Zimbabwe recently made an amazing journey, walking several kilometers all alone to the Wild is Life-IFAW boma (home) at Panda Masuie. The resident rescue elephant herd went out to greet and comfort the little calf and walk him back to the boma. Named Moses, the calf quickly settled in with the new herd, and within days was eating food from handlers and drinking from a bottle. Moses will remain in care at Panda Masuie with the hopes of eventually being released back into the wild….

To say I’m a tad disappointed is moot. This is a direct result of giving out participation awards AND Progressives losing voters! They gave absolutely ZERO to this country yet they are given citizenship and benefits outright! These people can sleep well at night giving my country away? Gives new meaning to “going postal,” no? I retired (forced) a year or so ago and I still can’t get medicare “B” while I paid into it all my life working, my elected officials deem it necessary to give that to illegals who never contributed a dime to it! I see this country circlin’ the drain! I used to be a proud Vietnam vet, but no more!!! Thank you pols!

I don’t know if this is true, but I heard that there is a turkey shortage this year. The local farm where I have purchased my fresh turkey the past few years didn’t raise them this year. I was able to purchase a frozen Butterball turkey today from Aldi, so that it safe in my freezer!

Mornin’ All. 35* and misty here. Still was a nice walk. I wore my new/used snow boots and they work just fine. Later, I have an appt to get another shot in my eye. I am sure they are going to want to do it again. But, I am so grateful that the bus will pick me up and take me back.

My friend if FL is sick. She thinks she has bronchitis. I don’t know, but I have been telling her the cough is really bad. She told me the Urgent Care was full and there was a 2 hour wait. She has been waiting for her doctor’s PA to call her back. I never went to my doctor when I was sick. I always went to Urgent Care. They were always very good. I hope she does that.

I have been thinking about all those people in FL who were displaced by the hurricane. I wonder what they will do this winter. It does it cold down there. And, so many cars destroyed by the salt water. I still haven’t read Sundance’s report on what is going on now. I want to make time to do that today.

Well, hope you all have a nice day, and nice weather.

I made a pasta dish for dinner (with lots of leftovers). it’s not that healthy, but really delicious. Rigatoni in a sauce made with loose Italian sausage/fennel seed/frozen peas/gorgonzola cheese/cream.
