I read a while ago about guys (no females were mentioned; but that doesn’t exclude them), who owned hand pumpers and motorized carts that rode the rails all across America. They mostly use track that’s been abandoned by the railroads. Turns out, there are thousands of miles of track laying fallow; ripe for riding, so to speak. It just seemed like a great way to see the country.

This is kinda precious….young kid had to quit his job at a non-profit because the stress gave him heart paplitations……..I can’t wait to see what happens if he works at a for-profit company. 😀 😀 😀

This is even more preciouser than the article above. Prima donna Mayor Adams is losing his mind over the few illegals we’re sending him. I guess he figgers we pay for their goodies with fairy dust and unicorn f*rts.

Don’t go dropping your 401k money, or spare mattress money on self-driving cars. Apparently, they aren’t ready for prime-time, or left hand turns. But they can burn through your money faster than Smooth-brain.

Boy, this became very obvious this last week. I thought it was a bad idea anyway for a lot of reasons, but it has become clear that this is a boondoggle.

Afternoon, All. Had trouble sleeping last night, but finally dropped off about 4:00 AM. So, I didn’t get up until 9:30. There were a lot of chem trails in the sky this morning. It is pretty sunny with a little haze. I think it was supposed to get down into the low 40’s or high 30’s last night. I think I actually heard my heater come on for a while in the middle of the night. It sure helps to have insulation in the walls.

Got to get chores done because there is a football game this afternoon. Have a nice day.

We’ll be cancelling our PP account if this is true…sounds illegal, actually:

Might put an end to eBay purchases! Oh well, we gave Amazon the boot a couple of years ago and are still surviving.

PayPal owned by eBay, last we heard!

    • Stella says:

They can’t actually ‘fine’ you, but they could hold money that is in your account – legal or not. If you don’t have any money in one of their accounts, they can’t touch you other than freezing or closing your account. That is what their terms actually say.

I’m sort of looking for another vendor similar to PayPal, but that won’t be an improvement if they have similar policies. I have heard that Donorbox is a candidate, but that they are now being attacked by leftists.

Thanks, weather, I read what they sent and it seemed like so much gobbledygook to me. I will cancel immediately.

Biden administration pays $265,000 a year in salaries of staff whose job is to deflect Hunter stories and Republican probes
    By SOPHIE MANN FOR DAILYMAIL.COM – 15:14 EDT, 8 October 2022

The White House has hired a number of staffers and is expected to hire more in anticipation of Republican-led probes into a number of issues. Defending the infamous first son, who has been deemed a ‘national security threat’ by members of Congress, will be a primary part of the new staffers’ jobs.

Republicans are gearing up to launch a number of probes into issues ranging from Hunter Biden to the origins of COVID-19 to the botched Afghanistan exit.
