Afternoon All. It has been raining here. We still went for our walk because the rain had stopped for a while. It started misting just as we were through. I made a BIG mistake last week. I ordered some dog food for Loki from Chewy. I was in a hurry to get the order in and neglected a few details, like how big a bag and how big the bites were. I can feed her the big food by soaking it for a while, but I think the bag will last for about 8 months or more. Guess I will have to get some bags to seal small amounts in, like maybe a month’s worth. LOL

Saw the eye doctor again yesterday. Got another shot in my eye. I told his assistant I didn’t remember him being so handsome and she said that is because he is a different doctor. LOL. She said their names are very similar, but I knew that wasn’t it, I didn’t remember his name. He was very pretty in a masculine way. LOL Anyway, my eye is much better. I had the bus come by and pick me up and then take me home after the appt. That worked very well. It is a nice free service here.

Anyway, need to get busy, still have boxes to open. The one I am working on now is difficult. It is garage type stuff.

Hope you all have a great day.

Good afternoon, aus! Being able to check out how handsome your doctor is shows there’s little wrong with your eyesight that counts…LOL!

When I used to shop in malls I’d play a little game to see if I could spot any truly drop-dead handsome males or beautiful females. From those pastime exercises I’ve concluded that both are extremely rare.

Isn’t that why we got movie stars to begin with?

Indeed…the handsomest and the most beautiful were in films and on stage. However, their flaws were easily hidden with makeup and clothing plus there were wonderful photographers who knew how to light a scene and especially a close-up.

A funny story about a friend of mine who had a visitor to her film studio office. The visitor was a huge fan of Mel Gibson and indicated she was hoping to see him while visiting since he was making a film there at the time. However, my friend told her that she’d already seen him as she passed by him when she entered the office lobby. My friend said the visitor walked quickly outside the building, but Mel had already disappeared from view. LOL! Mel was handsome of face, but definitely not imposing.

Interesting piece from Schlichter today. He thinks DeSantis’s time to run for President is 2024, not waiting until 2028. By then, he says, a lot could happen to ruin DeSantis’s chances, like a severe economic downturn. He seems to believe that downturn is still a few years off. I’m more pessimistic. I will be very surprised if that downturn doesn’t happen by the end of this year, or early next year. I wish I could be more hopeful, but we are truly on a roller coaster to Hell and picking up speed.

Hi everybody. Been flat on my back on a heating pad most of the day. Woke up in bad pain with cramped muscles in my lower back near my right hip. I’m still in pain, but much better. Can’t take much for pain because of my other meds, but getting by on extra strength acetaminophen.

What a great invention. Also, it’s a good way to get the kids or grandkids to help with kitchen clean-up (besides offering them a special sweet treat)…LOL!

      Hope your back heals quickly.
