THIS IN A CONSERVATIVE STATE! Made me want to hurl. So I immediately wrote to my state senator and our area’s two representatives re my alarm at this repulsive program but also in inquiry about what they plan to do about stopping this perversion. I only heard back from one representative within hours and he was working to stop it. I’m hoping since its been only four days now that I’ll hear back from the other two with thorough plans on how they plan to put these groomers in their place (preferably in prison for intentional corruption of minors).

Mornin’ All. Weather cool, sunny, etc. We have already had our walk and breakfast. I guess I am going to try to do laundry this morning if it isn’t too busy. I have watched some of the pomp and ceremony of the Queen’s service. The Royal Family must be totally exhausted. I remember how tired I was after my mother and then father’s funerals, and they were very simple.

So true, mom! I know it’s silly, but I wonder what the Queen would think about them hauling her poor old body all over the country for days on end . . .

On the other hand, now that I think about it, we all went out for ice cream at the local creamery after my mother’s funeral.

After leaving the country cemetery/Grant’s funeral in 2014, our sons and I went to the local “Pizza Heaven” for an all-you-eat-sit-down-and-breathe-meal. It’s a necessary drop-off from what has preceded….but I sure have thought about all the royal family these days: regardless of being accustomed to such ceremony, they have to be completely exhausted. I am glad that, to some extent, they can return to privacy over the next days, with the doors shut, or walking in a private place with no one watching.
I continue to notice and admire Prince Anne’s presence and dignity. I think she is just as fierce as Charles about protecting Mummy’s remaining physical presence….
