39 COMMON WEEDS THAT YOU CAN EAT OR USE FOR MEDICINE
April 25, 2022 by Kristine Lofgren

Step outside your door and look around at your lawn and garden. You probably see a few common weeds. Now look again. You might also be looking at dinner or the ingredients for a poultice to ease that rash that’s been nagging you.
It’s easy to disregard weeds as a troublesome nuisance to be yanked out or poisoned at the first opportunity. But many weeds are not only edible, they’re also medicinal and can improve your health, as well.

    Borage…

    Burdock…

Take a listen to this 16-year old boy, Maxim Vengerov (b.8.20.1974), play…
Tchaikovsky’s – “Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35″…it floors me every time.

If you’d like to see what Maxim (yes, I’m on a first name basis with him…LOL!) looked like in 2006, check out this beautiful rendition of Beethoven’s only concerto for violin: “Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61″….

He’s usually so serious when playing but is actually a very charming man, especially when he’s conducting master classes. I have a lot of favorite violinists, but Maxim is my absolute fav.

His mother told a funny story about the first violin teacher she hired for Maxim when they lived in Russia. I think he was about 6 years old when this incident happened. He didn’t like the teacher and when he showed up for his instruction time, he refused to play for her. The teacher told his mother that she simply couldn’t do anything with him, whereupon Maxim picked up his violin and perfectly played the 18 different works she had tried to get him to play. The teacher said something like, Ah, well, he’s a once-in-a-hundred-years player and that she would continue instruction. They got along better after that.

Mornin’ All. Haven’t posted much because Czarina and I have been too busy touring the Montana area. Yesterday we drove to a little town on Flathead Lake which Czarina posted a picture of yesterday, sat in rocking chairs at the doc looking at the pretty scene, had dinner and wine in a rustic little bar, and took a boat cruise. After that, it was a harrowing trip around all the curves, etc. to pick up my little Loki. Czarina drove because I can’t see well at night and when we finally got home we were exhausted. But, we had a great time. The weather was great as it tends to be here.

On Friday we had gone to a town of Apgar and taken a bus trip up the mountains of Glacier Park. That was really something. It was hot when we got on the bus, but halfway up it started raining and we got poured on and they had to pull the cover over the top of the bus because it was an open top bus. The bus had a heater which was very nice, but we were cooked by the end of the trip.

We have more to do today. So, bye for now. You all have a nice day.

And Now, the Left Moves to Normalize Pedophilia. This has been coming for years.
Tuesday, August 30, 2022 by Robert Spencer

It isn’t as if we weren’t warned. Many people have observed for years now that the total exclusion of morality from the public square, and the refusal to declare that any behavior was wrong in itself, would lead to the normalization of all manner of abhorrent behavior. Such warnings seem almost quaint now, with drag queens in primary schools and toddlers being encouraged to undergo radical body mutilation. In this insane environment, it is no surprise whatsoever that the Left is now pushing to make pedophilia as normal as a walk in the park. The assault on traditional values is total and unyielding. No quarter will be given.

Besides touring the area, we have been acting like vacationers: going in and out of cute shops, trying on clothes, eating popcorn for dinner and ice cream for breakfast. Today we are running errands, especially taking Loki to the Pet Smart for a visit and to buy dog food.
