Silver Lake Sand Dunes
The Dunes are located between Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. Silver Lake State Park covers nearly 3,000 acres of Lake Michigan shoreline. While most of that parkland is covered in sugar-sand dunes, the park also includes a four-mile Lake Michigan beach, inland Silver Lake, wooded hiking trails, a campground with boat launches and a towering lighthouse. Near the town of Mears, MI.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Finally a sunny morning with no piles of looming clouds or grey skies! Waiting for the lawn to dry a bit, then really need to do the whole thing, rough edges and driveway included. About 3 hours worth of mowing. Been skipping them and they look rather weedy, but it has been raining a little everyday making everything deeply soggy, so when I mow I just try to get the “lawn” done close to the house. That way the Viet Cong can’t sneak up through the tall grass…(Czar’s joke).

I know Tennessee would be thick in trees. We left a section of our lawn that was too steep to mow and the trees did take over quickly.

I’d still like to see an international businessman like [obviously NOT] Wilbur Ross who is an enlightened patriot. Nunes appeared to put up the good fight, but I’m so cautious about anyone who’s been in the DC circle. It seems too easy to compromise a politician. We have to remember that VP could be Pres in a heartbeat!

Good afternoon All. Another cool morning here with a clear blue sky. The drive to the church seems shorter every time I make it. It is only about 20 min and so much of the drive is out in open country.. Montana is really a beautiful place. The fire is still burning. My kids told me about a man who was starting a fire on the dirt road to their house. The UPS guy saw him and put it out. All the people off of that road are calling him a hero. It could have caused a lot of damage and burned a lot of homes. I really believe that a lot of these fires are started by humans. I think anywhere there is a death caused by an arsonist’ fire, the arsonist should be put to death. They get off too easy.

Was he an arsonist or irresponsible camper? Should be detained anyway…too many get off too easy when they should be institutionalized at the very least. I agree about the death penalty, though.

Oh my goodness, aus! How frightening! Arsonists are the worst sort of mentally-off humans. They enjoy inflicting damage in major ways…psychopaths who have no remorse. They love to be in the news knowing that the public doesn’t know who they are and what they have done. It’s a power trip. Arson is also related to sexual deviancy.
I remember reading an article years ago entitled “The Psychopath Next Door.” More often than not, the perp is someone from the community.
Hopefully everyone in the area of this incident remains vigilant 24/7…like setting up secret cameras on their properties. Was it reported to the police or fire department?
