“In everything give thanks.” Why does being thankful matter? Because even though a person can endure great hardship, a tragedy or a setback in health, looking for things about which “thanks” to God can be made brings a psychological healing. Beautiful photos, Lucille. The first reminded me that yesterday while stroking one of our dogs, we encountered a porcupine quill – followed by several others – embedded in her scruff. Heaven only knows! Probably rolled in something that smelled wonderful…to her!

Morning everybody! Speaking of weather, it was 96 degrees here yesterday, and then the rain moved in last evening. Temps plummeted into the low 70’s and we got a nice shower. More rain today, I hear.
