Mornin’ All. Weather here is great. Cool, then hot, then cool again. And, low humidity.
Had a problem for several days getting on the Internet. Since I have had this MacBook Air I have had relatively few problems. My DIL tried to help, but couldn’t, so she called my son and he came over and got it fixed. My DIL brought the three granddaughters and they were so good while she hung my curtains for me. Nobody wants me on even a step stool since I have fallen off three times. So, now my curtains are hung, the hall closet is arranged, boxes are moved down where I can get them, and some of the extra furniture has been taken to Goodwill. I am very happy to have this much progress since I am expecting special company in about a month. 🙂
So, went to the laundromat again this morning. This isn’t your laundromat of the past, it is bright, clean, and well kept. The attendant is very friendly and totally helpful and really makes it pleasant. But, I still want a washer/dryer. Well, hope everyone is healthy and having a nice day.

Good morning, aus! Glad things are moving along well and you’re getting items on your checklist accomplished. It’s so wonderful to have family close by to help out…plus good businesses to patronize and assist in your chores.
We’re at 81 degrees right now. though it’s still cool in the apartment. I’ve even got a scarf around my shoulders to keep from getting chilled. Unfortunately, that will change later when it gets to 93 degrees.

Yes. I have waited a long time for this and prayed every day that God would let me live near them. I am pretty independent and won’t have to rely on them so much once I get settled. Of course, I don’t want to be a burden. And, I do love Montana. I have been pleasantly surprised at how nice all the people here are. And, you hear “No worries” or “It’s all good” all the time. A very positive outlook.
My youngest granddaughter didn’t even know me at all. Everyone was shocked that she gave me a hug when I first met her. They said she is really standoffish. It may have been that she saw her sisters hug me. But, she certainly has accepted me. 🙂

Funny Instacart story. In today’s order, I asked for five bananas. There was no unit mentioned. Instead of 5 bananas, or even 5# of bananas (which would be an honest mistake by the shopper), I received 5 BUNCHES of bananas, or 12.23 pounds of bananas!
I complained, and will receive a credit, but what in hell will I do with five bunches of bananas? I suppose I could mash and freeze some of them for use in banana bread later.
ADD: I will mash four bananas and put each group in a freezer bag for later use. That is what I need for one loaf of banana bread.

I already have four overripe bananas in the refrigerator; I’ll make banana bread with those. I have another 3 or 4 perfectly ripe bananas – then the other five bunches!

Wow! What a great bunch (hah, I made a joke!) of recipes. I will print them out and save in my recipe box. I always buy the bag of brown bananas when they are marked down at the store.

Now that is funny, Stella! If you have household items you’d like to get rid of, hold a yard sale this weekend. On the side you could sell banana bread at $1 a slice.
