Biden’s Trip to That Hospital in East Jerusalem
July 18, 2022 10:00 AM By HUGH FITZGERALD

A disturbing part of Joe Biden’s visit to Israel was the trip he took to east Jerusalem to visit the Augusta Victoria Hospital. The hospital caters to Palestinian patients, and the media coverage – especially that from NPR’s Daniel Estrin — made it seem that Palestinian and Arab Israeli patients have no other options save these “underfunded” facilities. A few sob stories, about how difficult Israel makes it for Palestinians to come to Jerusalem for treatment of cancer and for dialysis, which are the focus of care at the Augusta Victoria Hospital, were broadcast on NPR; It is not true, of course, that Israelis deliberately delay Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank from being admitted to hospitals in east Jerusalem.

Mornin’ All. It was a very cool night. I actually had to pull up a quilt over me. Love it. I found out yesterday that the weird thing on the bedroom wall is a heater. I have to move my chest of drawers because they are too close to the heater. It is such a small room and I have to lose 4 ft of wall for the heater. Oh, well. I like that I can set it as low as I want. I hate a hot room in the winter. But, there is no heater in the bathroom. I am glad I kept the little space heater that I had in FL. I used it about 3 times in a year, each year. LOL. I bet it gets used more often here. Well, back to unpacking. I got a few large boxes emptied yesterday. Making progress, as slow as it is.

    Have a nice day.

Good afternoon, aus! We’re at 81 degrees at present, heading toward 84. Doable!

Glad you’re emptying those boxes. One of my friends had unopened boxes stashed behind her couch for years. Out of sight, out of mind. LOL!

Having room for a garden is a blessing. It’ll be even more so in the near future when more and more folks will find it an absolute necessity. And home-grown tastes so much better. Do you have a seed stash?

:0) I’m jealous Stella….My tomatoes are just beginning to set on and it will probably be another two/three weeks before I have any hope of tasting a ripe summer tomato….IMO one of the best tastes evah.

What varieties did you plant? I have Amish paste (still not ready), yellow pear (not ready), Manitoba (just starting to ripen) and Tigerella. This is the first time I planted Tigerella, and will again. They are small (cocktail size) and striped orange and red, very juicy and on the acid side, which is how I like them.

My main crop, and the ones that are starting to set on, is an “Heirloom Cherry” that I bought from Ferry-Morse seeds. I’ve never purchased from this seed company before, so I have no idea how they’ll taste, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’re good.

I also collected seeds from store- bought tomatoes last year and was able to raise about 6 plants from two different varieties of grape tomato seeds this spring. None of these plants have started to set on, but at the moment they’re loaded with blossoms, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

If I plant again next year, I’m definitely going to try to include the Tigerella. They’re beautiful.

FRAUD ALERT: Maricopa County GOP Chair Refuses Requests To Appoint Signature Challengers on Early Ballots — MASSIVE FRAUD EXPECTED!
By Jordan Conradson – Published July 19, 2022 at 4:10pm

“The AZGOP recently became aware that County GOPs have not used their power to appoint early ballot challengers, according to a letter asking County Chairmen to make these appointments before the next election. These challengers are different from regular poll watchers. They are tasked with challenging early ballot signatures according to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Signature Verification Guide.”
