Mornin all Ya’all! Had a perfect trip yesterday; weather in Charlottesville is wonderful! My sister is in less pain, but I will help her get more medical interventions today to make sure she has no occult broken bones and starts physical therapy soon. As we age we gradually debilitate unless we work hard to maintain strength, and she has not. Meanwhile, I am back to the mile walk with the little dogs twice a day, and her home gym upstairs. Even taking the stairs several times in a row is good exercise.

Hey Aus! I was just wondering if you’d made it to Montana yet! Glad to hear that you are there. I used to live in Ronan, about 50 (?) miles south of where you are, back before I moved to Alaska (25 years ago). I predict you will come to love the clear sunny skies but with cool air in the evenings and mornings. I love the lack of humidity, both there and here. Did you drive through eastern Montana, or come up from the south? You have to get east of the Rockies to really feel the Big Sky of Montana. It is a beautiful place to live!

Hey Stellars! I’ve been totally out of touch for the last 2 weeks, touring Alaska in the RV with family up from Texas. And ended a great trip by going to TRUMP’S FIRST RALLY in Alaska on Saturday!! Wow, what blowout, knockdown experience that was! I’ve watched almost every single rally he has done since 2015 and so longed to be able to go to one. Dream come true! All the comments people make about the energy levels, the comraderie, the spirit–it’s all true. There really is nothing like being at one of these events. And this was a small one by Trump standards. It was in the basketball arena on the Univ. of Alaska Anchorage campus, which has 5K seats. Another thousand were standing on the floor in front of the stage. And about 4K outside who never got in. So around 10K people. That’s a lot for Alaska.

It was so incredible seeing the man in person. We had seats on the first level above the floor, about 150 feet from the podium. His energy level just radiates from him. He doesn’t look a day older than he did 6 years ago. He is charged up and ready to go. I will be amazed if he doesn’t run again.

If you can find a video clip of Kelly Tshibaka’s speech before Trump came on, it was outstanding. And her short bit when Trump invited her up during his speech was also very good. I hope they are on either Youtube or Rumble. Kelly is running for Lisa Murkowski’s seat in the US Senate. We are saying endless prayers that she wins! Trump is completely behind her, and that makes a huge difference.

Anyway, glad to be home and able to check in with you all again. Happy Summer!

How absolutely terrific that you were able to go to a Trump rally, Tundra! I hope you took photos you can post! That would be awesome. Take care!

Frankly, I didn’t follow this story much beyond the headline. Coming from the corrupt left, it seemed a tad too timely and questionable…and I’m way too cynical when it comes to anything from that camp….
