Former Japananese leader Shinzo Abe assassinated

Terrible. It seems that he was shot through the heart. The shooter has been apprehended.

Video from Australia – can only be viewed on YouTube:

NHK-JAPAN:

Police have arrested Yamagami Tetsuya for attempted murder. [Report prior to Abe’s death was announced] Investigative sources told NHK a gun seized at the scene appeared to be handmade.

The 41-year-old suspect lives in Nara city where the shooting took place. Defense sources say the suspect worked for the Maritime Self Defense Force for three years until around 2005.

Police say the suspect told investigators that he was dissatisfied with the former prime minister and intended to kill him.

Japan has very restrictive gun laws, which probably explains why the gun was handmade.

And Biden apparently thinks that this is a good time to bring up gun violence (more fodder for gun control, I imagine):

Gun control laws just like Chicago! The problem isn’t guns as this entity built his gun. The problem is society and their beliefs. It’s only the law abiding citizen that respects law. That’s why pols are pushing gun control so heavily. They care less about the few criminals that will go to extremes to get what they want. They want the law abiding citizen to be disarmed. Then they can do what they want to get and keep power! More evidence that the extreme Left is a disease of the head! This guy after due process should be publicly executed! Native Americans had a way with a slow death. Suffering was part of the penalty.
