Another “Wonder” I’ll never get to see live. The Progressives make it difficult to move around. It would be nice to get to go and see some of this stuff. Now you need a clot shot and masks with a passport to leave or enter the Country. In ’04 my ex and I went to Niagara Falls and all we needed was a Birth Certificate to get into Canada and back, now ya gotta go the whole can of beans. When I was in the military in the early 70’s I went to S. E. Asia with only a military ID. That included places like Philippines, Japan, Guam, Vietnam, Thailand, and any of the other countries. Of course vaccinations were required, and lots of them. I had a pretty sore arm for about a week! Bob Dylan had it right, “The times they are a changin'”

Tip: You can get into Canada with an enhanced driver’s license. I have one from Michigan.

Pa, Juneteenth, both symbolically and in reality, was a huge defeat for the Democrats and a great victory against their rule. Republicans were the heroes. Unfortunately and shamefully not a single publicized celebration on the 19th mentioned that fact.

Mornin’ All. Hot, humid, muggy here. I asked my son if he could tell how much room I was going to have for boxes in the truck. He said it cost the same for the bigger truck as for the smaller one, so I don’t have to worry about either. I just hope he can get here. He has a connecting flight. Loki is doing pretty well. It is so much easier to give her the little pills. And, she ate most of her breakfast. Finished my breakfast and had better get to work. Enjoy your summer day.

Salad for dinner tonight. Looked in the fridge and have 2 kinds of lettuce plus field greens with baby spinach, radishes, cucumbers, green onions, olives, red, yellow, orange and Cubanelle peppers, celery, hard boiled eggs, ham, and several kinds of cheese. Also some croutons. My mother and I used to make huge salads when I visited her in Miami, where all sorts of fresh veggies are available. And Czar and I called it Super Salad when we made it, especially with home grown veggies.

The long corridor of residents from Brigham City in the north to Provo-Orem in the south has become very California infused. When I lived there there were only a few Rats, and practically none outside SLC. Now, despite the continued presence of LDS there are so many more people from the West Coast that they are overwhelming the old conservatives. This man has to represent both the values of the Mormons and all the libs who moved in.
