    Good Tuesday morning, Stellar’s!

‘2000 Mules’ Rocks the World as TOP Grossing Documentary of the Year!!!
    June 6, 2022 – Dr. Steve Turley

Video Explanation: “If you haven’t seen Dinesh D’Souza’s latest documentary, I’m going to give you a quick assessment of it right here and why it’s taking not just the nation by storm, but the world; we’ll see how people even in Europe are talking about the film, and we’re going to settle once and for all what the movie’s critics get wrong….”

A nice flower bouquet to Dr. Steve, ever the optimist…

…and add in another for those two Germans discussing 2000 MULES…

LUCILLE!! You’re back! Yay!!! You were gone so long, I was afraid you’d come down with the Woohan Cooties and passed away and we’d never know. I’m thanking the good Lord that is not the case. Wow, so good to see you back! You were missed big time dear friend.

Oh, Tundra, you dear girl, I’m tearing up. So sweet of you.

It’s been a beast of a time personally during my absence. Firstly, my old 2008 computer prevented me from posting or even viewing here but just posting was affected at CTH. With the new computer my family gave me, I’m able to get back in the swing of things here at Stella’s. Though I continue reading at CTH, I haven’t started posting there yet.

Then the ole health took a nose dive and I lost about 50 pounds via the diet the doc placed me on and look like a scarecrow (a whole closet-full of items became too large…appears there’s a new meaning for “bag lady”…and the animal shelter thrift shop got major donations of clothes plus bracelets and rings which no longer fit any finger or wrist).

Things did improve with one of the “afflictions” but, lawsy, I’m tired of various tests, MRIs, cat scans and bone scans. I won’t go into the gruesome details, but health will continue to be challenging. But at least the ole brain is still functioning…I think!

I missed everyone at Stella’s so much and am so glad to be back.

Mornin’ Lucille, Wee, and Everyone. Sunny, hot, but comfortable, and humid here. Going to lunch, then coming back here and removing some of the things from the walls ;I have to do on a stool. My friend will be here to call the paramedics if I fall. 😯 I saw a bug, maybe a roach, last night just before I turned out the light. I jumped up and smashed him so fast I didn’t get a good look at him. It might have come in with the cardboard boxes. Shudder. 😦

I was really down yesterday and then I got a call from one of the managers of apartments in Montana. Bless her dear heart. She is so bubbly and sweet and so helpful. She explained a lot of things to me and even checked to see if there was an update on the maximum income to get into one of the cheaper apartments. There was and I qualify. Thank goodness. It is the difference in $800/mo and $1600/mo. She gave me so much information and told me other apartment complexes to call. I felt much better after talking to her.

Hope you all have a hopeful day, although you may have to work at it. :\

He looks REALLY good for 101! Bless him…there are so few left of his generation. My dad, who passed last summer at 92, was a few years too young to serve and always wished he could have.

So sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing, Tundra. Losing our Daddies is hard.

My Dad also regretfully missed World War 2 because he was too old and had health issues at the time of Pearl Harbor. So he went into war work in southern California building Liberty ships as a welder. He was such a good worker that the company placed him in charge of crews which tore out the poor work some others did and replaced the welds with proper work. Mom said that definitely relieved his regrets somewhat.

    Good news, Auscitizenmom,
It’s a soul-lifting experience when we encounter someone who is a genuinely helpful person.
It’s an answer to prayer, and a testament to your diligence in “sweeping the area” to find what you need.
Put that in your blessings bank to draw on when needed, to counter the doubt and worry.
It’s a reminder on those days, when we need a little help, that help has come and we need not worry, only remain faithful.
    Psalms 103:2
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
God bless you, and your hard work,

I saw this, and I’m not going down alone, so you have to see it too. Bill Gates “reading list” for the summer. The only thing missing is the zombies and a new pandemic. Blah, blah, blah.
