Czar had to teach me how to make coffee. Until about 5 years ago he always made the coffee because I did not drink it (except as an occasional iced coffee). One day I made it for him and it was apparently so awful he took the time to make sure I knew how.

Mornin’ All. Same old weather here, sunny and hot. The news just gets more dismal every day. I ignore most of it, especially the abortion issue and Ukraine. I can’t stand too hear more about either of them. I need to have breakfast and then off toward on packing. Hope everyone has a nice day.

I hear ya, mom. I’m STD (sick to death) of the Ukraine issue. I’m sure the people, like most folks everywhere, are mostly good and hardworking. But the government is corrupt as hell and has been for many decades.

Love the pair of curious eels and the nosey seal! Wrong week, but I found this bird, the bearded redoing. The person who posted it was over the moon about it, and how round it was, face in the middle of its body, cutest ever bird!

Good morning all! Another beautiful spring day here! Tucker and I are off to the vet this afternoon for his last vaccinations before boarding next month. Later this week we visit the new boarding kennel/daycare facility. I hope he behaves himself.

There were no other animals or humans in the waiting room at the vet, so all was fairly calm. He got a lot of attention from the girls at the front desk (lots of pets), so he was very happy.

That was good. Last time I took Loki, she was ready to attack the very large dog that another man there had and I had to take her behind a door because I was afraid he wouldn’t be able to hold his dog. She was really good with the vet and her helpers.

My vet has a little room off to the side if your dog is worked up. Sort of like a cry room at church.

Zauber could be aggressive, but was mostly a lovely boy. The Aroooo (yes that is the correct spelling) was the most agreeable and polite boy, and even accepted the vet’s peace offering of a dog biscuit but took it over to the corner, laid it there and walked back. He liked people snacks…

Tucker isn’t at all aggressive – he just wants to play or make friends. He is just so hyped up that he is sometimes difficult to hold back. Today he obeyed commands to “sit” and “stay” for the most part. He takes any and all treats, human or dog.
