Mornin’, Miss Wee! I’m sure Brain-Freeze is hanging out at one of his beach-front mansions today. They oughta point him in that direction and tell him to find all of the eggs he can. 😉

Happy Easter, all. Our Favorite Sunday Columnist muses about Big Tech and Elon today. She references the post next door from a couple days ago. Coffee is on its way.

Need that. Grey again. Rained an inch and a half last night between 7 and 8:30 p.m. so everything is very muddy; predicted to be another round of severe storms by 6 this afternoon. Looks like an indoor day.

My kids sent me a picture. There are several new inches of snow this morning. 🙄

We didn’t get any April snow this year (not that much snow at all this winter, really), but usually we get a small snowfall in the first week of April.

Just checked the weather. We are forecast a rain/snow mix for tomorrow, but it won’t be cold enough to stick.

Happy Easter to everyone! It’s a beautiful sunny day here, with some high white clouds, but cool. We had a bit of frost last night.

A joyous Easter morning to all…..
We had the most peaceful snowfall yesterday and last night that we’ve had in ages…There was almost zero wind and there was very little moisture in the snow, so it fell heavily. Woke up this morning to a couple of inches of snow on the ground and the sunrise was so pretty. I don’t think there are too many things as beautiful as an ocean of clean white snow and a glorious warm sun reflecting off the surface.
I finished the netting for my indoor planting experiments and yesterday, I had two gorgeous trays of tomato seedlings that I had lovingly tended behind the net. However, because it was snowing yesterday, I decided to take the trays out of the safety of the netting and place them under a grow light. One would think I would learn. Nope. :0) I turned my back for less than one minute to fill a water bottle and came back to find that the ‘demon spawn’ had eaten them….wish I could blame the cat..

I’m so sorry to hear that. If I didn’t have mine protected they would have suffered the same fate.
Mine are growing great in their mini greenhouse. I have my lights inside it, hanging by chains from the frame. As usual, I planted too early, so my plants are getting quite tall and have been up-potted already once.

You still have plenty of time to start new seedlings!

I saved some seeds “just in case” – thank goodness. I’ll definitely be planting another set sometime this week and with snow still on the ground, I know I’ve still got enough time to get some nice sized plants for summer. :0)

All true. I have yellow jackets in my area in late summer. It is necessary to kill them.
