Mornin’ All. Already 75* and humid here. It is a little overcast, but that will burn off quickly I am sure. Today is haircut day. And, THAT is all the news I have. 🙄

No news is good news when much of the news is bad! 😄 Any news about the lost puppy? Is there a no-kill shelter around there?

No, YesterdayI tried to find out what happened and got nothing. And, yes the SPCA is a no kill shelter, along with a lot of others. But, I still am going to see if I can find out something about the little guy. He is such a good doggie.

You’re so good to care for this little one who can’t care for himself. I’m glad there are no-kill shelters there, and I’m sure he’d give you the biggest hug ever if he could! He knew you were a good person when he showed up at your place. Doggies just know.

Here is a painting by a popular artist here, Erin Hansen. It is not one of her usual desert scenes. This is ‘Mt Charleston’. It goes with Stella’s image today, and I’m guessing may look like a spring snow up in Alaska Tundra?
Have a great day everyone, another busy day for me 😉
(do you know – I was in such a rush, I wrote the text, and almost forgot to put in the image!! Hahahaha! Have to run!)

Looks like it surely could be an Alaska scene, G&C, but we’re a ways away from that much spring green just yet. The fresh 3″ that fell Monday night/Tuesday morning have about melted off, but the base in our yard is still nearly 3′ deep. The snow is usually gone, except for deeply shaded pockets, by the first week of May. Hopefully this year will follow that rule, but we have had an exceptionally heavy-snow winter. Breakup threatens to be fearsome.

Oh my! I once lived in a hilly area here in New England with a peculiar micro-climate where the snow was not gone until mid-end May, and snow started again end Sept into October, but not with a 3 foot base thankfully! Eight months of snow with no flowers or deciduous leaves was too much even for winter-loving me. I moved. Hopefully you’ll have some spring flowers popping up before too long.

I read a lot of that thread. Homeschool your kids. It is the ONLY option for now. These teachers are saying they have no respect for you and will lie to you. Don’t trust any of them unless you know them personally.
