Mornin’ All. Perfectly wonderful day here, breezy and nice. 74*. I noticed in the last few weeks that another couple of ducks have paired up. I wouldn’t notice except one of the ducks is a big white one and the other is one of our little brown ones. There are not any white duck flocks {?} here, he/she is the only one. I think it is the duck that was raised, for some reason, by a human family here. He used to sit on the couch and watch TV with them. When they moved he had to go back out and the other white ducks would have nothing to do with him. Neither would any of the others. The only reason I think it is a “he” is that the other duck is a “she”. But, they are together all the time now. I have felt so bad for this poor duck so I am glad he was able to pair up with another.

Every thing seem alright here in Pearl River County. In New Orleans the track of the tornado went near the house of a friend, crossed the street about a mile from my house on the Westbank of NO, crossed the river and took out a neighborhood a mile from that house, and also went near another friends house. All of us were spared despite its large size.

Weather people are all agog about this one being an EF 3, winds as high as a Cat 5 hurricane. Had an EF 3 through NO in 2017, and they are saying none of them remember any others that strong in all their years. Mostly get EF1 or waterspouts which dissipate when they hit land. Up here in MS along the lower Pearl River we seem to get one every few years. The videos of it going across the westbank and the river, then across Chalmette and Arabi are entrancing.
