I haven’t seen a flying frog; but in the Costa Rican jungle, we saw a few Jesus lizards which are similarly equipped. They run across the water and don’t sink, hence they can “walk on water”.

Mornin’ Wee and Geoff, Everyone. Coolish and sunny. We are starting to get up a little earlier now. Probably because the sun shines in the bedroom window. I don’t really mind. Since I am sleeping through the nights now, it is easier to get up. I have so much to do in the next few months and I need to get busy. Of course, we are going to the beach next week. So, it will take a lot of packing for that. Well, hope your day is nice.

The apt complex turned off the water yesterday morning for some reason. I shut off my ice maker so that it wouldn’t draw in any bad water when it came back on. When I finally did turn on the spigot in the kitchen, it sputtered and spit out black water. I have never seen it do anything like that before. Anyway, l I flushed all the spigots in the house, the toilets, the shower, ran the dishwasher without detergent, and the washer without clothes to try to make sure it was all gone. That black water was not dirt. I called the office, but they don’t have a clue. I just wonder if anybody knows what it might be.

Probably just sediment and mineral deposits in the pipes that can be stirred up when the water is turned off, and then back on.

If you ever use a snake to unplug a drain you’ll usually see the same type of black sediment.

Thanks. You are probably right………..but, somehow that is not comforting, knowing it is just sitting in the pipes.

Yes, sometimes what you don’t know won’t hurt you.

Thank you again for the info to fix my commenting. I would never, ever, ever, ever have figured that out on my own. I copied your comment and saved it in case it happens again because I know I won’t remember how to fix it. LOL. I just hope I can remember that I have your comment to fix it. Also, I will post it if someone else complains about the problem if you don’t mind. I thank you every morning when I first post now.
