Is Trudeau acting like Hitler? You decide

What Trudeau is attempting in Canada is pure Fascism – the government and business working together against the citizens. A good example is authorizing the seizure of private bank accounts by banks and credit card companies, and providing lists of those who have donated to unapproved causes.

The words fascism and fascist have long been associated with the Fascisti of Benito Mussolini and the fasces, the bundle of rods with an ax among them, which the Fascisti used as a symbol of the Italian people united and obedient to the single authority of the state.

More about the 1933 Reichstag Fire Decree:

Note the term, “protection of the people and the state”.

On February 4, Hitler’s cabinet had restricted the press and authorized the police to ban political meetings and marches. Nazi leaders then exploited the Reichstag fire to gain President von Hindenburg’s approval for a more extreme measure called the Decree for the Protection of the People and the State.

Popularly known as the Reichstag Fire Decree, the regulations suspended important provisions of the German constitution, especially those safeguarding individual rights and due process of law. The decree permitted the restriction of the right to assembly, freedom of speech, and freedom of the press, among other rights, and it removed all restraints on police investigations. With the decree in place, the regime was free to arrest and incarcerate political opponents without specific charge, dissolve political organizations, and suppress publications. It also gave the central government the authority to overrule state and local laws and overthrow state and local governments. This law became a permanent feature of the Nazi police state.

    Trudeau’s words:

This is about keeping Canadians safe, protecting people’s jobs and restoring confidence in our institutions . . . We’re not suspending fundamental rights or overriding the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. We are not limiting people’s freedom of speech. We are not limiting freedom of peaceful assembly. We are not preventing people from exercising their right to protest legally. We are reinforcing the principles, values, and institutions that keep all Canadians free.

Yet, the Emergencies Act allows for all of those things.

Trudeau is def like Hitler in many ways, but basically incorporates most, if not all, of the general definition of a tyrant. imo

But Trudeau is def not alone. A good many elected “leaders” have turned on and are attacking their own citizens, and recently have begun attacks on the “far-right,” the “far-right” being anyone who does not agree with them.

But look look look! We must protect Ukraine from the Big Bad Putin! Ignore the crisis in Canada and in your own country.

Trudeau should have stayed what he is – a drama teacher. It’s what he does best – drama.
