Hypocaffeinemia is a serious condition sometimes leading to erratic behavior like stabbing people who stand between me and the coffeepot first thing in the morning. Fortunately the condition is corrected by a big hot cuppa joe.

Mornin’ All. Frost all over the place here this morning. Loki ran into a yellow lab this morning that she has been wanting to attack. I met this lab a few years ago. It ran toward me like it was going to attack, but when it got close she ducked her head, was wagging her tail like crazy and rolled over. Super friendly. Well, when they met up this morning, the yellow lab sniffed Loki’s nose and laid down on the ground. She was very gentle with Loki and her owner says she always does that when she meets a small dog. Well, the sun is out and it is a beautiful day. Wonder what this week has in store for us.

Mornin’ aus, and all ya’all! Sitting on the memory care floor at the center where my b-i-l has been admitted. He’s taking another nap (people with Lewy Body Dementia take lots naps). Explaining to staff his strengths and losses, & how we have been successfully dealing with them. One they’re having a hard time understanding is that he only chooses to drink vanilla Ensure, vanilla milk shakes, ice water, cranapple juice, and only eats vanilla ice cream, no other foods.

My bil had a friend who had LBD; it was a rapid demise. So sad for your sister (or Czar’s sister?).
Interesting diet, but the Ensure is a life saver. My husband once rode a double-century exclusively on Ensure…did a respectable time but sore stomach afterward. These days there are MUCH more sophisticated fuels exclusively for athletes.

I was just watching Viva Frei walking in Ottawa. He asked if there were any violence and the only thing he heard about was a broken window. Actually what happened was somebody holding a sign and slipped and fell and his sign broke the window. LOL. Later, he asked a cop how things were going and he said everyone has been polite and respectful. Also, all the trash has been put in bags and set by the trash cans, 🙂 Canadians really are polite.
