    Mornin’ All. Sunny nice day here. I have never heard or seen as many fireworks as we had going off here last night at midnight. Poor little Loki usually just ignores them, but there were so many and they were so close she got a little jumpy. She wouldn’t get in her bed until I got in mine, then she settled down and went to bed. I had to get out of here early yesterday to take my car to have the rear driver’s side window fixed. If it had died rolled up, I would have just left it, but I couldn’t make it go up. So, now I am $425 poorer. I had to replace the driver’s window a couple of years ago. It was a little cheaper.

    Well, anyway, Happy New Year.

      Yeah, inconvenient. The passenger side window on the truck did that last year. On a Friday before a holiday Monday. With heavy rain predicted. I made a cover out of a plastic box lid and taped and bungee-corded it into place.

        I park in a car port, and one side is solid. So, I didn’t have to worry if it did rain, but…………..we have lots of squirrels and I ws afraid they would get in and make a mess. They gave me a piece of plastic that went over the door and covered the window. Evidently it worked. I just wish the window had gotten stuck up instead of down. I wouldn’t have bothered fixing it.

      Mornin’ mom. No fireworks here last night, which surprised me. I’m glad though. Weather is gray this morning.

      Sorry to hear about car expenses. I hate those.
