Grey, but maybe it’s just fog. Coast gets very high humidity with morning fog this time of year. But this year it is also getting to 80* as well.
Yesterday GGS to helped me prepare the rose bed to transplant a yellow rose into, put in T-posts, & prepare white lattice to go in back. Today we will hang the lattice, dig the hole, dig up the rose and transplant it I hope. If it doesn’t rain tomorrow the job will be covering the ground with weed-stop fabric and edging with bricks.

I especially miss Lucille on Bench Mondays! Can anyone tell me what happened to her and if she will be back ever? I looked forward to her daily greetings and to reading her inciteful contributions on DC discussions.
While I’m appreciating, thank you all Stellars for daily posts that give comfort and reassurance of the predominant normalcy in America. Stella, the daily stories and news articles add so much depth and value to this special branch of the Tree.

Thank goodness it is only that. I was fearing the worst, like that she had caught COVID and…not done well with it. Really hope she is back soon!

Mornin’ All. Nice and sunny here. I don’t have many plans for this week. But, I neglected my laundry last week and need to catch up. I also need to change my sheets. So, I guess that is what I will spend most of my time today on. Have a nice day.

We just made some for a family dinner recently. My brother in law bought one of the pans, not knowing what it was. So I brought my pan and a double batch of batter and four kinds of filling. Not only are they delicious, they are a blast to make.

Just watched the “Call The Midwives” season special. Loved it – it had the usual heartwarming themes, including a Christmas wedding! A few tears shed.
