    LEARNING TO CUSS
A 6 year old and a 4 year old are raking the yard.
The 6 year old asks, “You know what? I think it’s about time we started learning to cuss”. The 4 year old nods his head in approval.
The 6 year old continues, “When we go in for breakfast, I’m gonna say something with hell and you say something with ass”.
The 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm.
When the mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies,
“Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I’ll have some Cheerios”.
    WHACK!
He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. His mom locks him in his room and shouts, “You can stay there until I let you out!”
She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year old and asks with a stern voice, “And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?”
“I don’t know”, he blubbers, “but you can bet your ass it won’t be Cheerios”..

Mornin’ All. The snow was really coming down last night and I started getting cold………………………………………………I was watching a movie set in the mountains and my air conditioner was running full blast because it was 80* outside at 6:30 PM. Not really very Christmassy here as far as weather is concerned.

  5. I am asking for prayers for a miracle. A wonderful woman I know, really a kind and good woman all her life, has had a recurrence of cancer. She was in remission but then her doctor convinced her to get the jab & the cancer came back*. She gets blood transfusions multiple times a week. The treatment she had before no longer works so they put her on an experimental treatment & told her to put her affairs in order. She is now in ICU. I don’t want someone so good to die, and I’m not even a family member so I can’t imagine what her family is going through. Please pray for a miracle that she may be cured. Thank You.

    * she is the 4th person I know of that had cancer in remission come back after the jab. 1 is already dead, 2 are still alive & fighting it, and she is in ICU.

I will certainly pray for your friend! It is hard to see those we care about suffering.

While I am not in favor of Covid vaccination particularly, I doubt sincerely that it causes cancer remission recurrence. More likely it is the treatments for cancer that leave the persons open to getting cancer again by weakening the immune system. I have seen it happen to friends and relatives many times – long before Covid. My very best friend was in remission with lymphoma, almost died of pneumonia, then finally died 2 years later with pancreatic cancer. My cousin had a serious breast cancer, then was in remission for 10 years. Died of recurrence of breast cancer.

My other very good friend has not had a recurrence, but they almost killed her with the treatments.

I’m hearing that dandelion tea is good for people that have had trouble with the jab. I drink it often myself, even made into wine,LOL. Boy, is that ever good tasting.

If you make wine with dandelion, never pick a flower after a rain. Really affects the taste. Only use the yellow and separate that from the green. It takes a large garbage bag filled with flowers to get you a good tasting tea. That will eventually get you a couple gallons of wine. That is a helluva lot of picking. I find May as the prime time to get the flower here in Pa. Find a farmers field that hasn’t been grazed in to get your flowers. I have yet to be turned down in my picking, LOL. Quite a few quizzical looks though. As for tea, there’s lots to choose from and I use honey to sweeten it. It tends to be a bit bitter, so you’ll need some sweetener. In tea I like the root steeped after its washed.

        • Thank you Pa. I’ll keep that in mind for the future. There is no time and no flowers for that now, but I appreciate your advice. She deteriorated so quickly it is just stunning. In one week she went from meeting up with friends (although not looking well) to being in the ICU.

      • I’m so sorry for your loses. It is so heartbreaking. My Dad’s 2nd cancer was caused most likely by the treatment to save him from the 1st cancer the doctor said. Interesting it was 2 very different types of cancer he had.
Thank you for your prayers for this wonderful woman.
Also thank you for re-posting Menagerie’s Holiday posts. I appreciate all you do here. It must take a ton of time. You bring so much to so many.

    • Thank you to everyone praying for this wonderful woman. No matter what happens, prayers are never for naught. On so many levels prayers have value and help no matter the outcome.

  6. This painting of Mary & Joseph going to Bethlehem for the Census is by Dan Burr. He has a website for his art. I chose this because it gives a more realistic view of Mary who must have been suffering at 9 months pregnant bouncing and rocking on the back of a donkey out in the cold desert. The more I think of the uos and downs she must have gone through, most likely as a teenager as I have read, she just amazes me more and more.
