Morning everyone. Here’s a picture from the mountain behind our house, made a couple nights ago. Beautiful view, sunset over the Tennessee River canyon, and the lake on the other side. The lake is actually a man made reservoir. We really enjoy being able to drive a few minutes and get this view. The other side of the mountain overlooks the city, and it is an equally impressive view, especially at night.

Mornin Menagerie….I have been watching the 80 year old mayor and one of the towns people tear down a house that sits kitty-corner from my building. The first day they tore down one of the old garages and I got to see a tiny view of the foothills of one of the mountain ranges to the southeast… The second day they tore down the second old garage and I now have a clear view of a little bit more….Yesterday they started working on the house and I am soooo excited because when that’s been torn down, my morning view of the sunrises over the mountains is going to be incredible…
It’s 0 degrees at the moment, but the sky is clear and it’s really a beautiful morning here.

Mornin Czarina….My understanding is that the gentleman who bought the property has no plans other than to tear down the derelict buildings and leave an empty lot. Fingers crossed that he continues to hold to those plans.

Just heard from the Czarevich. Yesterday when the windstorm came thru Denver he had to pull his semi off the road. I just saw the videos on the Weather Channel.
