   One of the most poignant songs of the holiday.
   Whether in time, place or memory, most have experienced this longing for home and family.
   And never more than for those for whom Christmas has a special place in the heart.

   I always look for my Dad when I see these pictures from WW II. Wish I had asked him more questions about his 31 consecutive months of combat duty.
