Stella's Place 
Happy Friday everyone. Forty five years ago today I was in labor, and denying it. I kept waiting for the terrible, excruciating pain, so I decided it was just false labor. I insisted my husband take me to the doctor, instead of the hospital. The doctor told him to get me to the hospital down the road and not hit any bumps on the way. Few hours later my oldest son was born.
He’s coming to town this morning, and we have a big family dinner planned. I have about half of it cooked already, and plenty of time on the rest.
Hope you all have exciting weekend plans too. Aus, I envy you your beach trip. This used to be our favorite time to go. We made several trips to Tybee and Savannah in November.

Mornin’ all ya’all! No beach trips for me til after the new year. Got to go to inland Virginia and W.D.C. in a couple of weeks. And, after years of Miami beaches in the summer I agree: this is the best time off the year for beaches.

No matter how old they are, they are still our babies. A few years ago mine asked me how it was to have a 50-year old child. Not so very different. Have a wonderful day with your family!

Please keep me in your prayers. The breast center put off my appointment because the imaging center left out some images. Now my appointment is set for the 11th. Previously I felt nothing, now I am feeling slight discomfort in the area of concern.

So, this happened at the Basilica, where I used to attend Mass, and my grandchildren still attend religious education classes. My sister in law told he her grandchildren were really scared by this man. I guess they all handled it well, but I think someone should have beat the crap out of him. He’s too ignorant to reason with, and when kids get scared I say stop trying.
