Mornin’ Wee. And, Mornin’ to everyone else who shows up. Sunny and really nice here. I have a few errands to run and have to take Loki to the vet for a kennel cough shot. We are supposed to go to the beach next month and she will have to go to her “Doggie spa” and her vacc is out of date. Then, my friend is coming over and we are getting a pizza and playing cards. I hope she is ok. She visited a friend who was put in a rehab after another stroke and had to stand outside in the flower bed to talk to her through the window because the friend was in quarantine. She had a very heavy purse that was hanging from her shoulder and evidently it caused her hip to spasm. She has never had this problem before and was in a great deal of pain. They gave her a cortisone shot and she seemed much better yesterday. We will see. Have a great day.
Hope your friend is OK. Rest and keeping properly aligned is very important – as well as the friendship of someone like you! Have a great day together 😉
My mother carried a large, heavy purse for years, pulled her back out of line and left her with permanent pain. Encourage your friend to downsize the one she carries all the time, and get a larger bag to keep in the car with the “necessities” we think we cannot do without.
Usually when I change pocketbooks I’m in a hurry, and only put a few necessities in the new one. I always have two or three purses in the closet with stuff I eventually throw away, never going back to it.
Our former doctor, an osteopath, told my husband to never drive with his wallet in his pocket. Apparently even small things like that cause your back to hurt.
