    It’s kiddie Thursday for me as the littles are on fall break. Which we never had. We now have fall, winter, spring, and of course summer break. My husband said last night that he was cheated and wants school break reparations.

    This is kinda Christmasy due to the tablecloth and song at the end, but going into cooler weather who doesn’t like hot chocolate? Could be a fun project to do with the kids. Stella, another YouTube family whose channel is fun. Lots of gardening stuff, I found it from a fermenting video. And they even throw in skiing trips with the kids.

      It looks doable, and a grouping of them would be a great (hostess) gift.
      I would think you could also make it with the imposter called white “chocolate”.

      Everywhere I go, it’s hot. I’ve been up north with Pop and they are having a TX summer. Several days over 80*. Praying for a cold front. Plus, I’m wearing something long-sleeve while I’m here……..if it keels me!

    Mornin’ Menage, Wee, and all. Same ol’, same ol’ weather here. We went to a place called Beef’s yesterday for lunch. They have good salads and something called a Bowl. I got the lunch (which is smaller) Chicken Bowl. It is only $7 (for now) and is so big I will have the rest of it today. It was delicious. Actually, it is a stir fry with chicken, onions, green peppers, broccoli and fresh tomato on top, served on rice, covered with Poblano Sauce. On the way back home, I noticed a funny noise when I pressed the gas. So I made an appt to get it looked at tomorrow. I also noticed something with the transmission. I sure hope that isn’t the problem. Bad time for it. Well, hope your day is nice. I thought it looked like storms in the middle of the country. Hope they aren’t bad.

      Hope your car troubles are minimal. Good idea to have it checked out right away without driving it much.
      Many years ago before cell phones I had car trouble once while driving down the highway. I was by myself & did not want to stop. I kept on driving with the strange noise. It was my transmission and cost thousands to repair because I did not stop, leave the car & walk off the highway, but I don’t care. My safety was worth more than the repairs. Good luck.

    So, it turns out the scores of ships out at anchor, and thus the supply chain issues are caused by a California law about trucks. All the trucks that are supposed to unload those ships must now meet the latest certification requirements. About 50% of the trucks are older than 3 years, and therefore do not comply. Having the ports (POLA and POLB) work 24/7 will not solve this problem. More as it occurs.

    Convince me that those people don’t live and work in a swamp. McCabe gets his pension and all the other goodies back after SloeJoe takes over running us into the ground. Priorities…….
