    Goodness gracious, now I am here all alone, 😦 Hello to all. Sunny, hot and humid. But, kind of nice. This train we are on is still heading in the same direction it was going yesterday. Where is the brake? Well, have a nice day.

      Yes, pretty nice weather, temperatures, and outlook for the next few days. As far as the train: the Biden administration, China, COVID, inflation, critical race theory, corruption, BLM, Post Office slowdowns, murders in big cities, crimes not being prosecuted, etc, etc, etc. I’ve gotten to where I cannot look anymore, because the train wreck that is coming is overwhelming.

      Here’s the thing: Out here in flyover country, almost everyone is so over this mask mandate thing. Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, North Florida may be considered backward, toothless hicks, but we are living our lives fine without government mandates. Even in the big cities, where mayors issue fiats about who can attend what, wearing this or that, prove whatever, people are pretending to comply then going back to maskless lives (look at the stands at NFL games).

      And most people are willing to “risk their lives” to have Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with extended family. People who have had the virus, and those who have had the shots, really are okay, and the rest are willing to take the consequences. People who can’t get jabbed due to health reasons need to protect themselves, but their rights stop at the end of my nose.
