Why Are We Not Supporting The Legitimate Government Of Afghanistan?
by Charles “Sam” Faddis – September 4, 2021
Much has been made of President Ghani fleeing the country. His Vice-President Amrullah Saleh did not. He is in the Panjshir Valley leading the resistance to the Taliban’s seizure of power in this nation.

Huh! Didn’t hear a thing about that!

Good day, Lucille. That’s an excellent question.

Good day, Stella! Yes, indeed! It’s as though Saleh doesn’t exist.
The article mentions the assistance Pakistan gave the Taliban. What are we going to do about that? Nada. But, of course, Pakistan wasn’t the only country giving aid in a multitude of ways.
We have no way of knowing unless Saleh informs us whether he’d been kept properly informed by the U.S.–or the U.S.’s Afghan lackey, President Ghani, before he fled (and I’ve read that Ghani did not tell Saleh he was skipping out)–as to the extent of Chinese and Iranian support for the Taliban. That support enabled these loathsome jihadis to get all the way to Kabul.
If Saleh had known in time, he might have been able to secure a good portion of the arms and equipment given to the Afghan military and taken them with him to the northern province where they now fight against the Taliban. It’s highly unlikely that they will win without our support. And that most certainly will not be forthcoming.
Here’s an article from yesterday re the fight going on in the Panjshir Valley…note, however, the way they describe Saleh: “One of the resistance leaders in the valley, Amrullah Saleh….” Later he is called “former Vice President”! Likely the rest of the world that’s even paying attention disrespectfully views him the same way.

Mornin’ All. Sunny, hot, and humid here, as usual. I have been watching a YouTube channel called Mr Ballen. He is a really good storyteller and has explained what is behind some of the pictures and videos I have seen. He really can hold my attention. But, I have a problem with some of the stories he tells. I can’t listen to some of them in the late evening, especially the ones where somebody has broken or is breaking into the house. It starts making me jumpy. 😯 But, I sure enjoy his storytelling. Well, a nice day to you all.

Really nice here this morning: cool and sunny, not at all hot. Gonna go mow on the zero turn mower for a while. Lawn should have been mowed last week, but we were getting ready for a hurricane, then it was too wet to mow, then I worked every day last week because my fellow speech pathologists were all evacuated. Finally, a day of rest.

Mornin’ Czarina. It’s a good thing you have good excuses for not mowing your lawn. So, you are forgiven for having long grass. LOL. Hope you do find time to rest today.

Mowing on the riding mower is restful for me. Except when I run into a huge banana spider! This is their season.

Your writing “a day of rest” reminded me I meant to post this terrific conversation between Bill Whittle and his good friend Alfonzo “Zo” Rachel (you might remember him from PJMedia TV)….
“Don’t Let the Left Make You Crazy: How to Draw a Line in the Sand and Then Stand”
The Virtue Signal – September 3, 2021 (24:58 mins.)
Bill makes an inquiry of Zo as to what he meant exactly when he said recently that he draws a line in the sand when dealing with the world. It moves on from there and includes Zo’s take on our “day of rest.”

It’s pretty much the same kind of day here as yesterday….sunny with a nice breeze.
As I look out my office window I keep noticing that the tree in my line of vision has one branch which grown out too far from the other branches. The lack of symmetry is bugging me. LOL! Somewhere I may still have clippers and just might get off my computer chair and go out there to trim that off.
Have a lovely day!
