How have we arrived here? How has something that we loved become something we fear and despise?

Thank you Stella. Very powerful heartfelt video from Bill Whittle. And, yes, I think we have come to this. In a very short time.

It’s called honor. Men and women do valorous things because they have honor. They are not afraid of losing their jobs by putting everything on the line to do what is right.

Yes, in the military, not going against orders is drummed into the minds of the rank and file…and the brass holds repercussions over the heads of young men and women. For the most part, obeying orders is a good thing. But evidently what the military no longer does is to explain under what circumstances disobeying orders is acceptable. They study CRT and read Marxism-indoctrinating materials instead, thus destroying the institution from within.

In a Monday or Tuesday post, I said that this whole venture was a prime example of a time to disobey, a time to put a stop to following orders which are immoral. And that’s what Bill confirms in his presentation. Hearkening back to Ecclesiastes 3: ” A time to be silent and a time to speak”…let’s add in, if we may be so presumptuous, that there is a time to act and a time not to act, though that’s implied in several of those Bible verses. No one that we know of did actively do the moral thing in this crisis at Kabul airport, although some may have but are not advertising it. That is a stain on each individual’s character and, indeed, they become “scarred for life.”

So, what do they do now? What do the scarred do to redeem themselves? That’s up to the individual, of course. When it comes to our duty to others, however, many of us have found over the years that redemption begins with acknowledging wrongdoing, privately or publicly confessing that misfeasance, asking forgiveness, and making known the willingness to make restitution in whatever form is required.

May each person at Kabul in August of 2021 find his own way back to honor.

Taped live…The JIT Report…Michael sounds like he’s sleep-deprived, which doubtless he is. A truth-teller re Afghanistan. He got an email this AM from some Army captain which was a tad threatening. He just brushed it off and released the email with the man’s name. Bet the guy didn’t expect that!

Yes, I support him at and also have for years gotten emails from him. Unfortunately, his videos posted at locals and twitter aren’t compatible with my ancient programming.

He was rather wired in the JIT video. His mind goes a mile-a-minute. It sometimes seems that he’s strayed from the subject, until you realize he’s just laying background and then he ties it together at the end of his thought train. I like intense people and Michael is one-of-a-kind.

    Lara Logan is a Hero

If you could see what she really is doing, you would understand. I have a front row seat to the private section. My already high respect for Lara is doubled. There many behind the scenes doing incredible work. Some at great physical risk. Others pushing millions of dollars. Others at home tirelessly coordinating and using old knowledge they gained over lifetimes. We are getting many people out alive every day.
