So, basically, Biden and his sycophants are telling Americans to suck it up and fend for yourselves. Meanwhile the Brits are doing their job and not sitting on their duffs. I have to believe that our ground troops are champing at the bit knowing Americans are in severe danger and they are ordered to do nothing about it. I’m wondering if that order is lawful.

How do these turds get elected? I find it hard to believe they have a track record that’s quality! How in the Hell does the other half of a relationship put up with and/or accept this BS??? This isn’t the Democrat Party I grew up with, let alone my father’s Democrat Party! Wokeness and empathy are opposites???

Absolutely, aus! I first met him in the early 80s when he was in the California state senate. I was a Dem then and worked on his various campaigns. He seemed like such a great guy; had a large family; was attractive. We all thought he had a BIG future. He thought so, too. He ran for governor and lost. Then he was the CA Insurance Commissioner and we started to see another side to him…the side which was willing to make moral compromises to get ahead politically. He was CA Lt. Governor for two years and then won the lesser position as a House Representative in 2008 and he’s been in WDC since. He’s kissed so many asses by now that he thinks he’s a success when all he’s turned out to be is a man of promise who never lived up to it.

I just heard on FOX and FRIENDS that we were charging the evacuees $2,000 each to take them out. And, they had to sign aq paper saying they would pay that back if they didn’t have it. 😯

Another horrible embarrassment in the evacuation of Afghanistan by the clowns in the Biden Administration.
On Thursday news broke that the Biden administration was charging Americans $2,000 to pay for their flights from Kabul after the Taliban took over the city.
These are the same people who give free healthcare, homes, education, foodstamps, etc to any global citizen who can make their way across the open US southern border!
After public outrage the Biden State Department backtracked on this regulation later in the day on Thursday.
However — the form to pay the US government for your flight is STILL posted online.
On Friday morning Maria Bartiromo went off over the hypocrisy and cluelessness of the idiots inside the Biden regime.

I think it is a scenario for which we should be prepared because elections without meaning leave us with a stark choice between submission to a one-party totalitarian state or rebellion.
It has been evident for a long time that, although we have had elections, we have not had a representative government.
The United States now has a bona fide ruling class that both controls and transcends government, which sees itself as distinct from the rest of society and as the only element that may act on its behalf. The ruling class considers those who resist it as having no moral, intellectual or even any civil right to do so.

The ineptitude, buck passing, and sheer cowardice of political hacks cannot completely obscure the malice that gave birth to much of what we observe today. To steal, kill and destroy have been around for a very long time, but perhaps not so vividly in our times. It requires courage to admit it, even more to face it, head on, and actively work against it. How and when is a work of art and wisdom.
Thanks everyone for the thoughtful comments, beauty, and humor. We need them all. It’s a work of the spirit in written form, if we let it be.
