    Mornin’ All. It is only 77* here this morning and raining lightly. Probably will do this the rest of the day. Yesterday, it stormed off and on all afternoon. I decided to take Loki for her walk around 3:30 because I figured it might be t-storming later. But, after she ate, she was insistent that she get her 6:30 walk. She didn’t think one at 3:30 counted. LOL. So, I took her again. She seems really sleepy this morning. I could go back to bed, but it is lunch and a movie with my friend later. So, I have to get ready in a little while. Hope you all have a nice day.

    These are two people I follow on YouTube: Jess (Roots & Refuge Farm) and Justin (Justin Rhodes). Jess is my favorite! Justin has started a streaming service which is primarily meant for homesteaders, with a big section on “how to do it”, but also a section with regular tv-like shows about life on a small homestead. I’m not a homesteader, nor will I ever be one, but I enjoy watching these two families. They are hard workers, fun and funny, who raise their kids right (watch Jess’s son Ben and Justin’s son Jonah as two examples). They are real and there are bad things that happen as well as the good things.

    The new streaming service – Abundance Plus – is available on multiple streaming platforms – Roku, Apple, Amazon – and there are two levels; a cheaper one for people like me, and a more expensive level with tons of content for those who are actually farming! There are more contributors other than Jess and Justin, like Jill Winger (The Homestead Mentor) and many others. Most of all, it is wholesome television that anybody can watch.

    I know this seems weird for me, but I am a woman of many parts.

    This will never go anywhere, but at least our side throws something out there once in awhile. If your state wants vaccine passports, you should mandate voter ID. 😀

    Thank goodness I’m not a landlord. CDC extends the rent moratorium…………..again. Until October. Read up about how Blackrock is becoming the country’s largest landlord. Plays into the same hand as Bill Gates becoming the largest owner of farm land. Another story for another day, but they’re all related.
