I’ve only driven through Colorado but didn’t visit the Rockies. Though my sister lived in a small valley and could not see the Canadian Rockies from her house, once you got up to the access road for their ranch, the mountains loomed large even though they were a number of miles away. Spectacular!

The desert can be so beautiful. I remember waking up and crawling out of my tent one morning and everything………..absolutely everything I could see, was pink. It was really breathtaking. We were in the high desert in California.

Oh, that one is clever! Mornin’ all ya’all! Gorgeous 70* out here on the porch since we had 1/2” rain about 10 last night. Mowed the lawn before it got dark, thank heavens the storm stayed north of us till later.

Mornin’ All. Sunny, hot, humid……..same ole’ same ole’. It was pretty hot on our walk this morning, but it was still nice. My granddaughters had their birthday parties on Fri and Sat. The first was decorated with rainbows and the second was with dogs. And, yesterday they both got their ears pierced. I had sent them a pretty little tin tea set, some toy food to go with it, and a set of summer looking hats and purses. They seemed pretty pleased. Wish I could have been there. Oh, well, maybe next year.

Good day, aus! Well into adulthood, your granddaughters will remember the special gifts you give them. That’s one of the fun things about gift-giving and receiving. Now with their ears pierced, earrings are surely high on their lists and will make for easy choices come Christmas and birthdays. Bless their dear little hearts!

Very interesting…seems that the capitol police were more than happy to deal with protesters in a vicious manner if they were Trump supporters. Do you suppose Nance will use this eyewitness story in the quest for her truth about January 6th?

A black Trump supporter was gassed with clouds of pepper spray, pushed down, and then nearly trampled to death as police officers continued to push people on a pile outside the US Capitol.
