    Happy Sunday everyone. Hope you are off to a wonderful day, and Stella, how’s your basement? Hoping from your comment on yesterday’s post that the heavy rains missed you.

    We are supposed to have rain later today, lovely, right when I’ll be trying to get into church, slow as I am, then later getting back to the parish building for potluck. Then sun tomorrow and very hot followed by a week of thunderstorms.

      Yes, your prayers must have worked, because the rain mostly missed my neighborhood! A little bit of water got in, but that’s because the downspout on one side of the house wasn’t being directed away from the foundation. I fixed that. More rain expected this afternoon; in fact, rain every day this week.

      PS: I hope you stay dry!
