The dogs down below seem quite uninterested in seeing her climb the fence. They’re used to it evidently.
We had a momma cat when I was a kid and she used to climb up the wood porch posts and then flip around to get on the house roof in the wintertime. She loved sunning herself up there.

I have had dogs that climb fences. Three of them, as a matter of fact. Fortunately they seemed to grow out of it as they got older.

Mornin’ Lucille, and everybody who checks in later. Just looked out, the sky is grey and it is starting to sprinkle. Glad we have already taken our walk. I have been just trying to cool down before I fix breakfast. The weather guessers are showing a lot of action in the gulf. I hope Czarina will be okay. We may finally get some needed rain out of it. Hope you all have a nice day.

Good morning, aus! We’re supposed to be in the 80s today. No storms on the horizon. The tiny bit of rain we got earlier in the week has brought out the beautiful yellow flowers (can’t remember what they are called) which are part of each apartment’s small flower beds. All the plants, bushes and trees are looking healthy and happy.

Yes, he’s got one on. That was quite a popular thing in the early-mid 40s. I had one. Mom’s friends thought it was horrible. But I loved it and called it my “horsy game.”

My older grandson wore one for a while when he was three years old. If they hadn’t used it, he would run into the street.

Exactly! It was a precautionary measure to save exuberant kids from being injured. My parents had already endured the unthinkable with the death of my brother in a car-related accident. So they were very protective of my sister and me.

Mom made the harness into a game. I was always excited to go anywhere because I got to put it on. LOL!

He didn’t mind at all. When we took him to the State Fair, he commented that the goats had harnesses like his. When I told him that goats make cheese that Grandma likes, he started calling them “cheese animals”. So cute.
