    Singer-songwriter Nicole Raviv, who’s a regular opening act at Islanders games, teamed up with the sellout crowd of 13,917 fans inside Nassau Coliseum to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” ahead of New York’s 6-2 win over the Bruins.

    If you are wondering about the vocalist:

    Nicole Raviv is an international, multi-cultural artiste. A trilingual singer, writer, actress and producer, she has performed all over the world. Raviv was born in Montreal, Canada to a Romanian mother and Moroccan father who immigrated from Israel.

    The Islanders will now play the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup semifinals for the second consecutive postseason.

    Hockey fans are the best. Do you remember this from 2014? Canadians saved the anthem when the mic cut out.
