My friend is feeding another friend’s cat. She has been concerned that she hasn’t seen the cat in the last week, but it is eating. She told me she has looked everywhere for it but couldn’t find it. I laughed at her and said she can’t find her own cat in her own house when it hides, how does she expect to find someone else’s cat in their house?
Fat Freddie (16#) never wanted to be outside. Frankly, every time he went out he got into a horrible fight with Mickey-O. And last fall he got lost in the garage for 3 days, until the Czarevich dug around and found him. So, three days ago he ventured out the patio doors and sat under the table, and discovered he loved it. Now I have to round him up to come in and eat in the evenings.
It’s funny how cats have their ingrained habits for years then suddenly change or add new ones. Guess it’s a maturing thing. I knew someone with 2 cats who suddenly got a dog. The cats spent the following year on top of their refrigerator then one day hopped down and became best friends with the dog.
