Absolutely the best response to that smirky, spoiled, pouty little pretentious snoot I’ve ever seen. I graduated from high school never having had A.C. As I’m sure most of you did. Nothing electronic in my life then, not even a calculator. We always had to have scrap paper for math class to work the problem out.

I thought it was a great adventure to walk to school and home, especially in junior high when my group of friends met up. I lived farther away and walked about 40 minutes to get there.

Electronics have made kids almost a different breed to what we were, and my sons as well. Finding those three boys for bath and bedtime sometimes involved getting in the car and running them to ground. They were happier, healthier, and stronger.

It made me laugh out loud, which doesn’t happen that often! I too walked to school, no A/C (either at home or at school), and I remember that I had to be home by dark in the summer (sort of like the street light rule.)

I rode a bus. Three in each 2 person seat, and the aisle packed like sardines for a 40 min ride. Oh, and no air conditioning………….IN FLORIDA.
