Hi from the beach. It was sunny when we first woke up, but it has gotten overcast now. Also, it is very humid. Oh, well, a day at the beach is better than a day most anywhere else. Right?! The ocean is a beautiful blue-grey and silver. We just had breakfast and will go down to the jacuzzi in a while. Hope you all have a great day. πŸ™‚

Our favorite Sunday columnist takes a look at the Rudy Bee-Yes. She’s not convinced that the EfBeYi is going by the book. Grab your coffee and take a read. Sun is finally out in the Lone Star state.

This passes as scholarly “talk” these days –
“We are aware that cis-white heteronormative patriarchal institutions, power structures, and social attitudes harm Indigenous, Black, Brown, LGBTQ+, disabled individuals, women and other communities, especially those at the intersections of marginalised identities.”

Something called the American Humanist Association revoked an award they gave to a guy 25 years ago because he’s not woke enough anymore.

And the Pulitzer Prize committee reviewed the award given in the 1930s, who wrote about Stalin’s USSR who denied the Ukrainian Famine (Holodomor). “I have seen the future and it works”.
