Doesn’t matter whether Ashli Babbitt’s family can get past qualified immunity or not, although Viva Frei did a great job explaining the applicable “law.”

Being a gubmint employee fully protects Ashli’s murderer. Gubmint employees are covered every way possible from any harm or indemnity, and Congress would pass a retroactive law should any teeny part be missed for Ashli’s murderer.

But Ashli Babbitt was an “insurrectionist” and deserved everything that happened to her and more.
Any suit would be filed in the District of Columbia, and there is no judge or jury that won’t throw Ashlli’s family out on their ear.

Pretty sorry state of affairs, huh?
