Glorious, Czarina! Do they have thorns? We live in a climate that ranges from over 100 degrees in summer to as low as 25 below in winter. These might just be hardy enough.

Yes, plenty of thorns. Their main draw is they require almost no maintenance. 2x per year you cut them back. No spraying or disease prevention.

Beautiful! I have some red climbers, but they aren’t blooming yet. I had some white ones too, but I think that bush may be dead. The white ones had a beautiful scent.

I really like the picture at the top. It is just so beautiful. Mornin’ Everyone. The weather is beautiful, sunny and mid-60’s here. Going back to Ormond Beach in a week, so I figure I had better start packing. We take most of our food and only eat 3 meals out, 1 breakfast and 2 lunches. But, that means a lot of meal planning. Hope everyone else has a beautiful day.

Here is a favorite Czar invented: pour one large can of V8 in a container. Cut up an avocado, some cucumbers, red onion, celery, tomato, and colored bell peppers and add to the container. Season to taste with apple cider vinegar and olive oil, and of course, garlic. You must serve with a soup ladle since all the tasty bits fall to the bottom.

Looks like Czar was making his own V8 juice…all that’s needed is tomatos and black pepper and you could eliminate the V8! Our household is restricted to 2000 mg of salt per day, preferably less. That’s less than 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Total. Per day!
