    Mornin’ Wee and Lucille. Did Loki wake you up, too? Just another sunny day here.

    My friend is going to the doctor today. Hopefully she will be able to change to another one. This one is not good for her. The doctor refuses to give her some medications and changes her medications without telling her. She has just a small piece of her thyroid left after they took the rest out. She has been on Armour for 50 years and it works for her, but the doctor keeps changing it to Thyroxin or whatever it is called. That is much cheaper for the pharm company. She also told her back in Jan that she might need dialysis or a transplant if her kidney numbers go down any more but she never put the kidney tests on her next blood tests. You can’t tell someone something like that and then drop it. Also, she was not able to get in touch with the doctor for a month. And, it often takes three trips to Publix to get her prescription correct.

    I discovered something while I was helping her look for another doctor. My doctor is an osteopath. I did not realize that and it is probably why I like him and his office so much. They really stress living healthy and even though they recommend a lot of tests like a mammogram, they will work around it if I refuse to take it. Also, the girls at the front desk are always so nice.

    Well, here’s hoping for sunny warm days for all you up north.

      My doctor was an osteopath, went to him for years, and I loved him. You’re right aus, they are wonderful doctors. Also, much better at spinal manipulations than a chiropractor.

      Good morning, mom! Sounds like your friend needs a new doctor. If I call my doctor, I get a call back within a day, and the same for prescription renewals. I agree that the Armour is probably best for her too.

      Good morning, aus! Your friend definitely needs a new physician. Her present doctor’s attitude leaves a huge lot to be desired. When she finds that new doctor, she’ll need to reveal her medical history, of course. Mentioning that Armour has worked well for her is advisable. Also, mentioning the former doctor suggested she might have kidney problems will likely bring the new doctor to order both the blood and the urine tests to determine which stage she’s in…or if it was just a passing, careless comment from her former doc and there’s nothing wrong with her kidneys.

      My doctor also has a cavalier attitude toward chronic kidney disease. Every symptom I’ve told him about in the past didn’t set off any alarm bells for him until I was diagnosed with Stage 3 CKD. Even then he was dismissive when I expressed concerns, saying I have a good ten years before dialysis. Boy, what crystal ball is he reading! He said nothing about diet except to say my cholesterol is too high and limit foods which contain it and sodium. I’d love to change doctors, but with the chronic doctor shortage in the Idaho Panhandle (we rank #45 in the U.S. for Primary Care physicians per capita) you really can’t rock the boat.

      Instead, I consult the Mayo Clinic online. Also a good website for recipes and a lot of other info on CKD is https://www.thecookingdoc.co/ (note that it is “.co” and not “.com”). I’ve found the doctor there most encouraging and informative.

      Anyway, best of luck to your friend that she finds a compassionate and competent physician. Makes a person wonder where some of these doctors ranked in their graduating classes.

    Hopefully this bill passes. Too late for some of the abused children, however. So sad that these parents both are brainwashed and also brainwash the very ones they should be protecting.

    Bannon spoke with Dr Richard M Flemming this morning, a doctor with creds going off the page, with scientific/medical research, specifically SARs, etc. Dr Fleming says the vaccine is actually worthless, and goes through the EUA’s own data to prove it.     If this law ever gets fully implemented the way the left wants it done, it will do more to destroy the suburbs than any bomb ever could. It still makes me mad that Carson didn’t completely gut this thing. Every time I see one of these things rear back up, I’m more convinced than ever who is actually running the sh*t-show in DC. 😦
