A police officer has died. The perpetrator was shot and killed by the police.
A Capitol Police officer was killed Friday after a man rammed a car into two officers at a barricade outside the U.S. Capitol and then emerged wielding a knife.
Video shows the driver of the crashed car emerging with a knife in his hand and starting to run at the pair of officers, Capitol Police Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman told reporters. Authorities shot the suspect, who died at a hospital.
Two law enforcement officials told The Associated Press that the suspect stabbed one of the officers. The officials spoke to AP were not authorized to publicly discuss the pending investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The reason it was designated “not terrorism” is because the guy is a Muslim. I thought that was a possibility as soon as I heard because they said the knife was big like a machete or something.

He was not a terrorist based on 2 Criteia:
1. He was Black.
2. He was a Nation of Islam followwer.

I saw a report that the killer said he was recovering from some bad times where he had been taking some hallucinogenic drugs that he wasn’t aware of. Guess they don’t call it terrorism in that it wasn’t pre-planned…just a drug-induced stupor.
